Foreward:
These are the histories of the world as recorded by Thianeiri Uilu – sister of Andrew Jackson Riel (beloved son of Eva, Mother of us all), daughter of Adamas Sulieiri (the first man). Thianeiri Uilu makes no claim to authorship; these histories were transcribed as recounted to her by the ravens, who warned of the coming eschaton. Neither were the ravens the original authors; they were taught the stories by the trees – primarily the birch, the ash, and the juniper, who are well-known for their memory.
It is the habit of the gods to cause an apocalyptical account of the ages of the world to be prepared for the survivors of each eschaton. Whether this is because the gods feel some remorse for their ritual of destruction, or because the account catalyzes the civilization of the following age is uncertain. This account draws heavily on the previous apocalypses, as well as Thianeiri Uilu’s own memory of the near future.
The gods have many names – as many as there have been priests to name them – but for the sake of the reader, Thianeiri Uilu here standardized the histories to use the common names spoken by the angels of the Sun. These are the names used by Adamas, the ravens, and the Okapi.
